Property Description:
A new four-story business and tourist hotel located in the Nashville area with 95 traditional guest rooms.
Project Objective
The property owner was facing a fast-track construction schedule and wanted to do everything possible to meet the schedule or improve on it. While at the same time insisting on the highest possible quality standards including custom tiled walls.
Construction Challenges:
The project was designed around the Infinity Structural System, consisting of an Epicore MSR Composite Floor System on pre-panelized load-bearing metal stud walls. Each bathroom featured a granite vanity, tub/shower combination, toilet, towel bars, and mirror and incorporated a wall vent with a fire damper. In addition, all demising walls inside the hotel were designed to be load-bearing.

The Eggrock Solution:
Eggrock developed a bathroom that incorporated the hallway wall, plumbing risers, and mechanical shaft to minimize as much site construction as possible. Eggrock’s super strong ThinFloor System allowed the bathroom to be placed directly on the concrete slab, while providing a seamless transition to the carpeted floor. A proprietary lifting system was used to quickly load bathrooms into position at the construction site by crane.
